🏵️ Every Child Matters includes Palestinian Children 🏵️
the phrase is EVERY CHILD MATTERS. not ‘the children here matter more than the children there’ (because we can argue no one gives a shit about children here either)

there’s a direct correlation between all these white people currently trying to drill “calorie deficit” into our brains and the ongoing starvation genocides against Sudan/ Congo/ Palestine and the same white people who starved our family members in residential schools

A group of men harassing participants of an annual "Take Back the Night" march. How wretched does one have to be to stoop to that level? How petty and insecure? Shame on them.

A friend of mine is an incredible artist who recently spent over 25 years incarcerated. He has created a wonderful work of art that has already been exhibited once and he would love to loan it to others who might want to exhibit it. When it is mounted, the entire piece with the frame is 48"x 67"

Recognizing Palestine while funding Israel’s genocide is symbolism without substance. Our latest: what this recognition means, what it doesn’t, and why it’s happening now.
The recognition of Palestine: what it does, what it doesn’t do, and why now
The recognition of Palestine as a state is more of a symbolic gesture than a meaningful act, like imposing sanctions on Israel would be. Still, it shows that even Israel’s allies have been forced to…

"Violence has no place in politics" You think cutting off funding for food, education, housing and medical care isn't violent? You think arresting, jailing, deporting and killing people for the color of their skin isn't violent? Worms are in a lot of brains if you think violence isn't already here.

it really is astonishing how quickly it goes from “civil war” and “blood in the streets” to “wow guys it’s just a sad tragedy” when it becomes inconvenient

I cited actual Kirk quotes where he calls Black women less intelligent, demonizes me for being Muslim, & dehumanizes LGBTQ people—& his supporters are upset at me for “speaking evil of the dead.”

If quoting him is “speaking evil” maybe ask yourself why you followed someone who believed evil things.

Interesting how it's the *Left* that is known for infighting, and so many people are just learning about the "different strains" of far-right/alt-right/fascism for the first time today. Wonder why that is. 🤔

It is pretty amazing to see people go from “the left is the enemy of democracy and must be purged” to “who can really know why good kids do bad things?”

This is simply untenable. There is no way forward with media and political classes captured by the right. Every time someone commits a crime you have to pray it's not an undesirable or it's purge time, then when it turns out to be themselves again they just shrug and wait for the next one.

Liberals are doing the right’s job for it.

By lionizing Charlie Kirk and refusing to acknowledge his real political project, they’re giving power to the right’s completely predictable effort to use his death to forward their goal of an authoritarian, fascist state.

I want to once again reiterate what I said earlier. The reason the vast majority of Democratic and so-called centrist elites have acquiesced over and over again is that they are COMPLICIT. Because they actually know that direct confrontation is how you defeat fascists and choose not to do it.
Certainly looks like we scared the President away from Chicago. Fighting like hell works.
