After signing a law that cuts food assistance by $187B over the next decade, The Trump admin now says it will stop measuring food insecurity. If you stop counting hunger, you don’t have to admit that people are hungry. This is a disaster.

I don’t think people truly understand the ascendency of fascism in this country right now. This is an abhorrent, but not surprising, proposal given the rhetoric and actions of the Trump regime and its far right supporters.
