I might believe these Epstein allegations about Trump if he was accused in the past by 27 different women of sexual assault, found liable for it, bragged on tape/video about grabbing women, going backstage while girls were changing at pageants, and how hot his daughter was.

I'm not sure higher ed can recover from this kind of absolute moral degredation, or if it should. Certainly not in its current form.
The college at which I'm employed, which has signed a contract with the AI firm that stole books from 131 colleagues & me, paid a student to write an op-ed for the student paper promoting AI, guided the writing of it, and did not disclose this to the paper. www.thedartmouth.com/article/2026...
College approached and paid student to write op-ed in The Dartmouth
The Dartmouth ran the article on Nov. 17 without knowledge that the College had been involved.

The entire law enforcement apparatus, cops - 'constitutional' sherriffs - corrections guards - fed goon squads are all part of incarceration culture & infrastructure. ICE n4z1s ramped up so quickly because there's all this horrifying structure in place, they just fit right in. #AbolitionIsForAll
this is bad for lots of reasons, but not least--why the fuck are the federal bureau of prisons agents doing this work?

abolitionists are once again right: what we are experiencing now is a direct result of the carceralization of the nation--the whole fucking country is a prison now
We’re just not a free country.

Any American watching this play out between regime forces and journalists overseas would recognize it for what it is.

Always glad to see growth, but I wonder if he really has reflected on why his epiphany happened now, and not much much sooner.
He spent decades bringing the religious right to power. Now he's marching to undo it.

Rev. Rob Schenck spent decades helping build the Religious Right—commingling church and state to advance conservative causes. Now, he says he must confront the damage he helped cause.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

Democrats needing to message on affordability as the country endures a brutal authoritarian takeover is tragic. Take it from someone who lives in occupied Minneapolis. Our problems go deeper than prices.

We visited Renee Good's memorial.

There, we met a group of Somali Minnesotans — who too have been viciously attacked for weeks — warmly hosting everyone.

Flowers & stuffed animals galore.
Neighbors continually offering sambusas & hand-warmers & water.
Grief. And belief.

I couldn't understand how he wasn't weeping then I realized he was ♥
Mamdani's entire Big Block of Cheese Day video is worth watching, but in particular, his chat with Samina, a Pakistani woman who reminds me of my Bengali mom, made me tear up.

I think her English is perfectly intelligible. But it's amazing to see how eloquent she becomes once they switch into Urdu.

Why Mark Kelly’s Case Matters
The action against him is unwarranted and could chill legitimate—and invaluable—public speech by veterans.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
