it is almost as if accommodating and conceding to far right ideas legitimizes them and signals to voters that the far right is a legitimate choice for governance
The Danish Social Democrats are currently on course for their worst election result since at least the Second World War, despite their brand of far-right accommodationism being touted as a blueprint for other centre-left parties.

This will surely surprise most Americans today, but historians have recently discovered that before Donald Trump, it was actually incredibly rare for a president to demand the public execution of this political opponents and press critics.

I don't love the Court's reliance on hypotheticals, but the scenario it used is not just realistic, it's likely a quite common occurrence. And normal people wouldn't call an 18 year-old looking at a sext of a 17 year-old a 'pedophile', which is precisely why a year in jail would be unjust.
I went hard at the SCC for 'making up a pedophile to be nice to'. A different viewpoint linked below, though I think we're actually in accord that judges should decide the cases in front of them.

Still think legislating from the bench is the quickest way to politicize the judiciary.

Wait, did they edit an interview? Did they not air every second?

I heard that’s grounds for a multimillion lawsuit
I see that CBS chose not to air this part. It probably explains much of what they did decide to air.

Not a hard question, except for the culture that pretends it's not the answer

1) right-wing media lies incessantly, so anyone truth-based doesn't trust it, and anyone who trusts it doesn't trust anything else

2) other media treats those lies as legitimate, for "fairness," getting trust from no one
