After the recent loss of one of our dogs, I was moved to paint this. All the pups that were part of our family over the past 30 years. Two are still with us.

Grinch-themed quilt. The center of the quilt is a panel featuring a standing Grinch in a Santa suit. This panel is surrounded by a series of borders. Innermost is a thin black and white stripe; next a wider scrappy border made up of wonky red blocks. The outside border is also wide wonky blocks, but this time green with thin black and white stripes separating them.

A path through a dense, vibrantly green forest, moving center frame into the distance, where very blurry, people can be seen far off. The path passes by a bench, where you may stop to rest, if you like. This path is in Saratoga Springs, part of what I believe to be the Bog Meadow Brook Nature Trail, though don't quote me on that. #ArtAdventCalendar day 20. Already! This is one of my personal favourites. In oils. I was in Québec near Quebec City and looked down into this amazing array of leaves. This is the result.
A large array of fallen leaves in many stages of collapse, from dark crimson, to orange, to golden. Some green leaves and grass are poking through.
