Looking beatific in the afternoon sunshine- one of my "Guardian Angels". White earthenware, individually modelled, fired, then painted with acrylic paint and mounted on hardwood base. As kids, my brother and I used to like to wave to the steam engine drivers as they passed through our village. The engineer would invariably wave back and sometimes blow the train horn just for us. And that is why I have a @suitcasetrains.bsky.social train in my Christmas window display! Come see.

It's Christmas cake baking day here in Taylor Towers (as well as Remembrance Day). I'm baking two cakes, one for family, one for soldiers serving in Ukaine. I've made my "stirring wish".... if only it would come true.
