Alien Romulus was also better than expected! They've done so well with the casting in the franchise.
Loved the idea of a two-halves space station. And the initial rush of facehuggers was absolutely terrifying.
Really liking the weirdness they're adding to the franchise.

Legend of Hei was better than expected. So well animated. Enjoyed hearing Chinese for a change.

AI is in a race to find a revenue stream before people get bored and/or catch on. I actually would welcome automation for certain tedious tasks but formatting a spreadsheet isn’t sexy to investors. Making a movie from thin air* is.

Watching Fire Force, and it's incredible in so many ways, but then they throw in the casual sexual assault for gags, and overt fanservice; and I nearly turned it off right then and there.
This really is an issue with the whole genre. My god.

Having finished the first Battle of Twelve Brooks episode of Worlds Beyond Number it is simultaneously the most stressful and most incredible ttrpg project I've ever witnessed.
The awe that I'm in as a listener, and the amount of questions I've got as a GM.

Reading through the rules of Kids on Brooms, and loving it!
One thing I'm entirely not grasping, however, is how to set the difficulty for spells.
Because what spell effect doesn't bend or break reality? You're making things happen in circumstances they ordinarily would not. #ttrpg #KoB

Arkham City was such an improvement on Arkham Asylum. Especially considering it came out like a year later.
But for all the work they put into making a big city, I never felt like I had a reason to explore it, and it felt very empty.

Arkham City was such an improvement on Arkham Asylum. Especially considering it came out like a year later.
