I am writing and publishing a TTRPG explicitly about nonsensical pop culture crossover lore and this shit makes me legit tempted to shelve the entire game.

I've decided that Dying is Your Latest Fashion is better than like, anything by brand new, despite Ronnie Radke being a complete tool that album is so lively compared to the dead-fishiness that I get from Jesse Lacey.

Hello gamers! Come play tabletop games @wonderville.nyc with some local game designers. It's gonna be cool and really fun and I bet you will meet your new best friend or something.

Hey you know when I pointed out that there are a lot of toxic online spaces where vulnerable people mix with evil people and some of those vulnerable people are largely being groomed and exploited by the evil people, but everyone outside those online spaces assumes they're the same group?
The Dual Pathways Hypothesis of Incel Harm: A Model of Harmful Attitudes and Beliefs Among Involuntary Celibates - Archives of Sexual Behavior
Incels (involuntary celibates) are an online subculture of men who form their identity around a perceived inability to form sexual or romantic relationships. This community operates almost exclusively...

You'd have thought it would be of journalistic interest that this was his page on the Sex Matters website until very recently... and today that same page is a "not found".

It might also be interesting to note its the one trustee position missing from his LinkedIn.

That sounds like a story.

"fascism consumed the west because not enough people understood girldick" sounds like a shitpost but is demonstrable political fact

even the mildest inoculation against propaganda about transfeminine bodies would have denied the nazis their last 10 years of smokescreen
if basic sex ed / human health classes had had even a single unit that just said "here's the signs of dysphoria, chromosomes are weird sometimes, secondary sex characteristics including breasts and genitals and bone density are shaped by hormones," democracy would not have collapsed
First it was bathrooms. Then sports. Now classrooms. The school in question bent over backwards to accommodate the parents of other children, going as far as making the class optional but that still wasn’t enough. My heart breaks for the girl at the center of this. Imagine how isolating it must be.

Not feeling to good about the harm that AI potentially serves to do the the way that we learn skills and work as people in the near future, hoping gen Y does not lose the love of doing. Very hard to feel optimistic about any of it, at least we have good video games (for now) #Media180summer25

my mom taught me there's two kinds of businesses: hot dog stands and art galleries

- hot dog stands protect territory and keep competition off their turf
- art galleries benefit from more adjacent art galleries, cluster together to amplify reach/support

youre an art gallery, not a hot dog stand
Play and discuss as if you were friends trying to get to know each other better, rather than as if you were rival squawking merchants trying to sell competing goods in a marketplace. The world is full of friends and potential friends, and it's much lonelier and more frightening when it isn't.

Astonishing how even after YEARS Hero Wars ads continue to be effective, to the tune of 1.7 Billion. All it takes is enlisting the classics: 'get kicked around by a giant anime lady'; 'It wouldn't have gone like this if it was me (basic math edition)'; and lie about the game #media180summer25

It's been a pattern in the gaming industry to see eagerly awaited game projects cut in favor of long term profit (see the recent debacle around subnautica 2), yet CEOs and shareholders continue to surprise me with their greed. At least I can still play ultra nothing for 2.99 #Media180summer25
