Never said this about Trump their golden pedo

Exactly. If Biden was somehow involved in this it would be a scandal of proportions you wouldn’t believe. But because it’s Trump we have to ignore it. Screw the NYT
I actually think this is a fair point and it’s hard to know precisely what you’d publish out of these emails. It’s just maddening in comparison to the NYT’s willingness to absolutely obsess over scurrilous rumors about Biden dementia, Clinton email non-scandals, etc.
The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

Any generic ballot poll that isn’t at least +5 Dems is probably weighted poorly.

If polling in 2025 showed us anything you can’t just use pervious cycles to predict. You need to aim for the electorate we are going to get

Has any news organization brought disgrace on itself as much as NYT?

Completely down played the two biggest scandals of the Trump admin: Russia and Epstein

Press is like trying to decide what to cover like it’s the worlds hardest choice:

On one hand the president is a pedo and covering it up

On the other hand Dems in disarray

So the press and gop are going with the strategy of “let’s just ignore the Dems putting belt to ass we saw last Tuesday and pretend 2026 won’t be a repeat”

That’s a strategy for sure

Whenever there is a cultural scandal for the GOP, the press all of a sudden says “voters only care about kitchen table issues”

Whenever there is an economic issue for the GOP, the press says “culture moves the voters”

It’s wild to see some of the backflips happening right now

You don’t get the victories that Dems got last Tuesday having a 55-60 disapproval rating. Dems would have done good but not as great as they did.

I mean Dems were winning school board elections in Hitlerberg OH. That wasn’t happening in 2017/2018
This might be a hot take but I think Trumps disapproval is closer to 65% than 55% but I think polling is 2024 pilled

The Republican president is a pedophile who has doubled my healthcare costs and let scores of violent criminals out of jail. But a Democratic mayor-elect wants to make busses free in a city I don't live in. I have never felt more politically homeless.

To me it’s insane that the NYT knew Trump was a p3do and possibly has pictures of it…back in 2016!!!

Like how do you argue they weren’t on trumps side…

The attorney general and the FBI director, a manosphere podcaster bro, pulled into the situation room a member of Congress best known for getting kicked out of a Beetlejuice musical for drunkenly giving her date a handy, in order to pressure her about the president's child sex trafficking scandal.

Epstein: I’m best friends with this pedo running for President, here’s a bunch of stories about how big a pedo he is

NYT: but her emails
Landon Thomas Jr of the New York Times got told by Jeffrey Epstein that Trump walked into a glass door bc he was so busy staring at girls in Epstein's house and didn't print it. wild that the Times didn't consider that newsworthy.

We could have had full employment, low inflation, cheaper groceries, and plenty of housing but the country had to vote for the Pedo.

GOP was not good put lanaguge that stopped Trump from being able to do “lawless” stuff.

The GOP is fine with Trump doing whatever they have no goals or desires besides power for power sake.
I mostly agree with people that the Dems folded and that senate dems are outdated in their view of the American electorate. Like I think we could have gotten better than just a promise on ACA vote…

But people vastly overrate what the shutdown could accomplish.

It’s why I’m skeptical of a welcomepac style moderation effort.

The things voters want Dems to moderate on and the things welcomepac wants Dem to moderate on are at odds with each other.
Dems never stopped trying to pass policies that helped deep red states even after the times those states voted for Dems.

Dem policies disproportionately help deep red states.
One of the biggest misconceptions I’ve seen about polarization is that states have moved rightward because of Dems “forgetting” about the state or “ignoring” their priorities.

There just isn’t much evidence to support this.
