Chief executives of multiple large Minnesota companies issued a public letter on Sunday calling for an “immediate de-escalation of tensions” in the state. The statement came one day after federal agents shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti during a protest in Minneapolis.

Two women trained as first responders were abducted by three ICE agents. One of the agents starts seizing. The other two don’t know what to do. The women jump into action and save the agent’s life, only to be re-handcuffed and processed.

What I don't get about this is that Brooke Rollins is presenting this as some sort of good news, like "hey, everyone can all be happy on a food budget of $16/day" when, even if that's true, that means feeding a family of 4 costs $23K a year.
Federal poverty level for family/4 is $32Ky/year.
