Dr. Sammy part 2. So many plants we eat aren’t native. So many of the plants we call native are NOT. Like honey bees and Mexican milkweed, many are naturalized, having been here hundreds of years. There’s an elitist snobbery about “native only,” that’s not inspiring.

The geese from last month’s emergency rescue are doing well! We are not sure what we’re going to do with them, to be honest. We’re not set up to keep them permanently, but they would have died if we had not taken them from the homestead where they were found.

JUST IN: A federal judge has barred ICE and DHS from using taxpayer information provided by the IRS.
