The tactic relied on the fact that The Enemy very rarely moved from their chosen path. The big ships, at least.

The craziest thing i experienced when starting testosterone, considering myself someone who didn't experience much dysphoria, was suddenly feeling that my body was part of me and an extension of myself
Rather than a sort of disassociated thing i was piloting and living inside

dysphoria doesn't always manifest itself as explicit discomfort with your body or identity and can often only be identified in retrospect
