The Chemical Safety Board does not duplicate OSHA or EPA. It's more like the NTSB of chemical plant incidents.

Eliminating the #CSB will mean more chemical releases, evacuations illnesses and deaths -- everywhere in the US, not just cancer alley.

US Census updated its city-level pop estimates today, showing population increases from 2023–24 in most cities.

Interesting data:
—NYC added 87k, up to ~8.5 m
—LA added 31k
—Chicago added 22k
—Seattle added 17k, up to 781k. This is up from 563k in 2000! Its density went from 6700 ppl/sq mi to 9300!

Who uses Bluesky? We look at the political leanings of Users, and investigate polarisations and political leanings on Bluesky. Bluesky users are almost exclusively center-left leaning with a unimodal distribution of political opinions.
