These were not radicals. Im on vacation, im chatting with small shop owners, an uber driver, and several random people in line for things. People are talking about this openly. It is not a fringe position.
I’ve spoken to multiple strangers about politics in the past week, every single one of them said something to the effect of “I hate Donald Trump but I also hate the democrats for being spineless dweebs” and I think there are a lot of people who need to understand that this is a very common position.

Terrible take. The goal shouldn't be to create parity among the elite classes (political and economic) so they will be nicer to the lower classes — that won't even work, it's nonsense on its face! rich people don't just stop wanting more money! The goal should be to eliminate the elite classes.
ryan is right. people HATE hearing this. but it is just a matter of simple incentives. if you want a more representative legislature — and if you want a legislature more resistant to corruption — then you need to jack up the salaries. serving as mayor of NYC should net you a cool 500K *at least*
people hate hearing this but it's 100% true, creating a huge pay gap between political leaders, their staffs, and other elites is a recipe for corruption. of course the flip side of that is taxes on the rich should be jacked way the hell up

Lately I've been itching to make zines again. But i just don't know what to make them about. I like all the editing and the type setting and the designing, actually coming up with content is such a chore lol. probably the opposite of a reason to make a zine.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
