If you have any doubt / confusion about what @libdems.org.uk stand for in this age of divisiveness & anger, watch this short 3 minute video. It's mostly made up of what other people, not Lib Dems, are saying about @eddavey.libdems.org.uk and his party...

More than a dozen Labour MPs defied their party whips & voted with @libdems.org.uk in favour of UK rejoining a #CustomsUnion with EU.

As a result, the #LibDems Ten-Minute Rule Bill passed the House of Commons with a majority of one, after the Deputy Speaker cast the deciding vote in its favour.
🚨BREAKING🚨

MPs have voted to PASS our bill to establish a UK-EU customs union.

The Prime Minister must now listen to his own MPs, drop his self-imposed red lines and finally go for proper growth through an ambitious trade deal with the EU.

Updated with another Lib Dem gain.
For third time since May, Greens don't put up anyone to defend one of their own seats.
Yet another Lib Dem gain in Mel Stride’s seat, this time from the Greens

Am not sure what #LibDems position on this would be if Govt went ahead in #UKbudget. But given it's small step towards rationalisation of UK property taxes & would likely create downward pressure on house prices whilst raising billions for the Exchequer, I'm hoping we'd be in favour of such a move.

Good to see @eddavey.libdems.org.uk quoted in @nytimes.com

It's highly commendable that Sir Ed led efforts in Parliament to apply pressure - aiding the King & HM Govt to evict Andrew - doing so without turning serious affair & its victims into a political football.

Sexual offences are very hard for the police to investigate well - so they need experienced officers.

Yet the Mayor and government undermine this by focusing on police numbers rather than retaining skilled police officers.
There's a huge amount in there, so I'm spreading it out for you with a chart a day for the next few weeks! For now, 3 key messages. 1) Major problem in policing is officer inexperience. Police work is getting more complex with more domestic abuse & sexual violence and forces lack skills to handle it

This is tragic. The Conservatives let Britain's health & care services fall apart, and the Labour Government is moving far too slowly! As anyone with close family with care needs already knows, we are at crisis point now - and only the Liberal Democrats have a credible plan to rescue care.
Our hospices have been pushed to the brink.

Hundreds of beds lie empty because there is not enough funding or staff.

Liberal Democrats have a plan to save our hospices.

The PM says everyone in UK must have mandatory #digitalID. Liberal Democrats like myself reject this—that’s not the kind of country we want to be, where people are forced to turn over their private data just to go about their daily lives. Sign #LibDems petition here:
