Alberta's UCP government has an ongoing campaign against supervised drug consumption sites and the latest victim is at Edmonton's Royal Alex.

This whole Alberta pipeline discussion is the opposite of nation building.

I feel that our nation building projects should be more along the lines of a national integrated carbon neutral electricity grid. A national high-speed rail system. Discussion of crownlands being returned to First Nations.

I am frustrated and enraged at the UCP and Danielle Smith, for using the most powerful constitutional hammer we have to vaporize human rights for children and their parents.

I am disgusted by these Conservative MLAs. Every single one of them has taken leave of their senses and their humanity.
Today, Alberta introduced Bill 9 and invoked the notwithstanding clause to shield three anti-trans laws from constitutional challenge. These laws deny gender-affirming care to youth, erase 2SLGBTQI identities from schools, and ban trans girls and women from sports.

Under the Compassionate Intervention Act, people with substance use disorder can be forced to take any prescription medication without consent. It doesn't matter if they have decisional capacity. While doctors are involved, ultimately a lawyer gets to decide what the treatment order will be. #ableg

Trains, trains, they’re good for your heart,
The more you ride, the more you depart!
The more you depart, the further you roam,
Through fields and towns till you’re safely home.
Instead of trying to green cars so much why don't we just invest in trains. city trains. under ground trains. above ground trains. trains between cities. trains between countries. TRAINS

Well, I’m glad that my kids are going back to school tomorrow, I think it’s ridiculous that teachers charter rights- and by extension all of our charter rights- had to be violated for that to happen. The UCP government is showing up in bad faith not just to Alberta teachers to all Alberta citizens.
