Trump bought Boeing bonds while rewarding the company billions in federal contracts.

He bought Intel bonds after directing the government to acquire a stake in the company.

He bought Meta bonds while pushing AI-friendly policy.

Trump isn’t governing — he’s cashing in.

"I still think environmentalism is basically bad" is just his old "sweatshop workers should have the freedom to die making my clothes" shtick but applied to climate change. Casual indifference to human suffering is his M.O. and always has been, since he became famous for supporting the 2003 Iraq War

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Devastated that millions of American are about to lose their healthcare - simply because they cannot afford it. Medical bankruptcy is going to spike. People are going to die. Shame on everyone that allowed this to happen

The first bill in 2029 must be free public health care for all Americans.

Ok California, good job on Prop 50 but we have to talk about LAX. My flight landed an hour and twenty minutes ago and I still have no idea how I can get to my hotel.

Tonight was a huge win for democracy & a major blow to Trump's authoritarian rule

Voters chose Dem govs in VA & NJ, kept a Dem majority on PA’s top court, rejected an anti-voting measure in ME, chose an anti-Trump NYC mayor & are set to back fair maps in CA. Pro-democracy sweep.

Well, the Columbus establishment can rest easy a little longer - Vogel is down about 1500 votes with 99% precincts reporting.

As in the primary, Vogel handily wins District 7 but narrowly loses citywide, thanks to the city’s ridiculous fake ward system. Time for real electoral reform in this city!

-Dems retain majority on PA Supreme Court

-Dems win VA gov & increase majority in VA leg increasing chances of new US House map

-Maine voters reject ballot initiative to require voter ID & restrict absentee voting

-KS Republicans drop gerrymandering push

Happy Election Day! With our democracy profoundly challenged right now, it feels so good to vote.

Columbus - if you haven’t already, please go vote for Jesse Vogel! He’s a good human and will make a great Council Member.

The Shutdown fight is putting a spotlight on how harmful healthcare cuts would be to millions of working people. Everyone needs to know about this. Democracy can feel theoretical to people, but this fight shows them what’s really at stake. apple.news/Abd9vMfNETga...

My two cents about No Kings 2 is that yes the protests alone haven’t changed anything but I think not attending if you’re able squanders a big community organizing opportunity. People are looking for direction, if you’re part of an org or just solo this is a great place to be visible & connect. 1/3

I refuse to believe people voted for shooting innocent people with no criminal record just because they appear to be an immigrant and flee abduction. People who voted for this administration need to be shown what their vote has wrought.

This indictment of Letitia James is not a prosecution; it is a politically-motivated persecution. Donald Trump is using a weaponized Department of Justice to punish a public servant who dared to hold him accountable. This sham proceeding is a direct assault on the Rule of Law.

Every single American should be able to worship freely without having to worry about their safety.

Hate and violence have no place in this country.

Global warming caused by humans is an observed fact. Yes, science still needs to learn more, but it's no more in overall doubt than the theory of gravity. And it's bad. Willful ignorance, enforced by those who choose to deny science, is an existential threat to our civilization.
