Watched The Long Walk film.
It was so close.
So close.
But it fails in a big way. We don’t really see any physical impact from the walk. The book is brutal in what that walk does to participants. The film shows people dying but everyone looks as fresh at the as the start.

IMO this is the finest professional ballroom couple currently competing in Australia. The precision of their movements and character are superb.

Guillermo Del Toro’s new Frankenstein film on Netflix is excellent. A pity it’s locked to Netflix so people who don’t have that service miss out on this great piece of art.

If I were an enterprising indie developer I would be taking the opportunity to make “Sims but without Saudi Arabia’s censorship board watching us” because we all know what’s inevitable here.
A designer for The Sims says that the series' diversity is "critical, especially at times like now", in the face of ongoing reactionary cycles.

Felt like a meat free day so went to local vegan restaurant for curry bun and sweet & sour “pork” and mapo tofu. This is good stuff. Very moresome.

So @digitaleclipse.bsky.social has knocked it out the park with the Mortal Kombat collection. This GBA gem got me through a difficult period where I had a 2 hour commute for a job I hated. Replaying this has been the definition of nostalgia.
