Okay, I’ve heard all the criticisms. I agree now that my plan to create a Jonestown on Mars was foolish and dangerous. I will instead be building a much more achievable Jonestown on the Moon

I think it’s a Minns problem. He’s been wanting to stop the protests since October 2023. So his govt imposed laws which set up inevitable police/protester confrontation. He’s a disgrace.
Whatever you think about the protests against Herzog — and nothing I say should be taken as an endorsement of any particular position — the fact that every major protest went smoothly (Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Adelaide) except Sydney suggests a Sydney-specific policing problem.
