People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.

When you’re making a book, not everything you’d like to include makes the cut. I had to let many signs go while editing India Street Lettering www.blaft.com/products/ind..., and among them were ads for astrologers.

To make up, I wrote my small paean to them indiastreetlettering.com/blog/sun-sig...

Colonial records indicate that 750 Sikh men attempted to migrate to Argentina in the first half of 1912. Many carried recommendation letters from British officials in Punjab. #Argentina, however, remained unwelcoming.

Monotype once again giving our whole industry a bad name

Wild story, a font service was bought out by a US company and now they are absolutely dogshit and it'll particularly heavily affect JP games, especially service titles.

The question I hate the most is “What’s your favorite font?”
What’s the worst question someone can ask after you tell them your profession? For linguists, it’s definitely “how many languages do you speak?”, but I’m curious what else is happening to the rest of y’all out there?!

As women we are policed for wearing jeans in India or niqabs and sarees in in the west. People need to leave women’s clothes and women alone. This constant burdening of women anywhere to reject or assimilate to protect cultural or patriarchal insecurities is repulsive.

Watch till the end to catch a glimpse of my contribution to @letterformarchive.org’s 10th anniversary celebration. It was such an honour to be invited to participate and be featured among stalwarts, past and present! 😇
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, Letterform Archive partnered with the San Francisco office of COLLINS on 100 Tens — 50 “1”s from the Archive’s collection paired with 50 new works from a range of today’s leading designers.
