Once again; GDT's Frankenstein has made me very happy he hesitated on "At the Mountains of Madness". Frankenstein made me long to see it made again, but now after he has grown so much as a Gothic director. Something has less of the vibe of an action movie starring Tom Cruise.

Something hit just right when I was writing this. A balance of good vibes and weed.
Frankenstein is a hauntingly beautiful film. Every shot a painting sort of direction. The story deviates from it's source material with a profound love for it's legacy. Packed full of homage to all past iterations, from hidden character designs to exact shot recreations.

Okay, Frankenstein was amazing. Top film of the year? Maybe? I've been really bad at watching movies.
