"The [@citizenlab.ca's Access Now] helpline has more people in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan region, given that these are hotspots for spyware cases"

They "look into about 1,000 cases of suspected government spyware attacks per year."

Flashed open firmware to router via USB to serial adapter. Small win for me.

Waiting for USB to serial to RJ45 firmware update is 🔭. Unless flashed, GOTO function nor object tracking work.

Difference between risk of bricking a 50€ router & a 10k 🔭 which isn't even mine is huge. 😰🥵

Zot hé. Zo fantastisch mooie sterrenstelsels en daar zijn er zo ongelooflijk veel van dat we die geen naam geven maar gewoon een catalogus nummer.

Hier, nummer 6000 uit de New General Catalogue.
Gorgeous: NGC 6000, a sparkling spiral galaxy in Scorpius

In its core, stars are typically older and smaller; cooler, lower-mass stars appear redder, while hotter stars shine bluer

Btw, this is also why Francesca Albanese is facing sanctions from Rubio - she exposed these same tech companies and their complicity with Israel's genocide.

She deserved more solidarity. It never stops with Israel.

Francesca Albanese—

"It is becoming more and more intense—personal threats, physical threats, the sanctions—it has not silenced me because you cannot silence the truth in the face of a genocide.

So well put. Isolate the US. Don't buy their products, don't go there on holiday, persuade your employer to ditch US tech. And be nice to individual Americans, nobody deserves this kind of government and in the end, Americans will pay the highest price of all as it is their country that gets fucked.
UN’s Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese:

“I truly hope that people will stay calm, will not panic, and will remember that the international community is made of 193 states, and this is the time to give the US what it has been looking for – isolation!”

Strikes is about the only means of pressure us worker bees have.

It's up to govt and corporate to check their balances: which is more costly - giving in to strikers' demands or loosing customers?

That's the whole purpose of strikes.
“Each day of strike action represents a loss of €25 million for our economy. But above all, in the long term, it simply damages perceptions of the reliability of our airport.”

#Surveillance has become so cheap it's become pretty hard to escape.

The problem isn't in collecting the data. It's who and what has access to the treasure trove.

Since Snowden everyone knows expert hoarders aren't experts at securing these assets and abuse is ubiquitous.
