I keep looking at my photos from last night. I’m not sure I can convey how big a deal this was.
I’ve got poor eyesight, and driving at night is always nerve wracking. So my night time photography has always been limited.

Last night I picked up a book I hadn’t looked at in over a year. A collection of essays and speeches by Kurt Vonnegut.
He mentioned how Veteran’s Day used to be Armistice Day, where people would talk about how war cost us so much and wasn’t the answer. But then they changed it.
