Having thought about #NUFC’s issues, and that a lot of people talk about the defence, I think it’s more that our attacking play is coughing up the ball and leaving the defence exposed. Without a striker who stretches teams, our build-up lacks depth and becomes contained. Will Wissa change all that?

Not yet a full-blown crisis, but unless things get sorted then it has at least the potential to be. Use the international break wisely. Hall must start, fingers crossed for Wissa and Tino. Also Ramsdale deserves a chance. We're getting found out time and again as it stands. #NUFC

Lots of chatter about the mackems, eh? They're having a fantastic season after so many years of utter dross. It might last... it might not. What I do know is that it has nothing to do with #NUFC until we play them in about 5 weeks time - we can't control what they get up to until then.

What is this non-story? It doesn’t bother me that players want to keep their options open in the long term. Is this player currently performing to expectations? He’s exceeded them in my opinion. Has he downed tools in a sulk? Hardly. Crap journalism all round. #NUFC

Enjoyed watching that game. Tonali and Thiaw immense, great game from BDB and Schär as well. And, of course, wor Nick popping up with another goal. More whiny cockneys sent home unhappy. Home tie again in the QF v Fulham. Decent night's work! #NUFC

These last-minute cock-ups against these sorts of teams are hugely frustrating. Pope kept us in the game for so long, but it was ultimately in vain. Can't say Gordon did us many favours either. We need a good run starting from now. #NUFC

Enjoyable game. Some poor finishing, but good quality elsewhere. Different feel to this time last year. Still a bit bitter about Wissa being out, but we ought to give the Arse a game on Sunday. #NUFC
