I spoke to Nick Offerman, the George Saunders of Hollywood, about playing extremists, his smalltown upbringing, the defamation of Ron Swanson and how to be happy. I sort of wish he was my therapist

Nick Offerman: 'My Trump-voting friends think I'm brainwashed by paedophiles'
The 'Last of Us' actor talks being attracted to right-wing roles, why he's thankful for friends on different sides of the political spectrum - and why 'Parks and Recreation' could never be made now

Noooooooooo!!!
After 8+ years, starting with the very first Remainiacs in May 2017, this is my last show as host. It’s been a privilege and an adventure to work with so many great panellists, producers and guests and we’ve had the best listeners. Thanks to all of them. I’m still doing Origin Story though. Cheers!

It’s 100 years since the Scopes trial so why not watch Inherit the Wind (free on Prime) and enjoy Spencer Tracy laying into ignorance, superstition and authoritarianism
#OTD in 1925, the Scopes Trial began, drawing national attention as celebrity lawyers Clarence Darrow and William Jennings Bryan faced off in a high-stakes clash over evolution and religion in public schools.

1 in 4 Americans reject evolution, a century after the Scopes monkey trial spotlighted the clash between science and religion
One hundred years after the Scopes trial, the culture war over evolution and creationism remains intense.

When I think of Brian Wilson I think how wonderful it was that he had the chance to come back from limbo with the 2002 Pet Sounds shows and then finally finish Smile. After a pretty hellish three decades, he got to see how loved he was. Those shows were celestial.

Gee, I wonder. #StreisandEffect
