This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

It’s fun to think about the surgeon who will botch your surgery 20 years from now and what he’s doing at this moment. He just ran all his homework through ChatGPT. He just read that article about vaccines and autism at the CDC website. He just watched an Instagram video about the moon landing hoax.

this is stupid
Your tamagotchi had a rich inner life and the equivalent of 37 doctorates. Why not.
Bahahahahaha The New York Times just printed an opinion piece declaring "AI is intelligent, so long as we redefine what intelligence means to include it. And soon AI will be conscious, because we'll just redefine consciousness too!"

Nothing means anything! Yay!

Mamdani says that members of the Trump goon squad who commit violent assaults and traffic accidents will face accountability in the courts. Same message we heard from Gov Hochul last week.
Mamdani: "My message to ICE agents & to everyone across this city is that everyone will be held to the same standard of the law. If you violate it, you must be held accountable. There is sadly a sense growing that certain people are allowed to violate that law, whether they be POTUS or ICE agents."

We’re going to have to get used to this. 2026 and 2028 are likely to look very similar.

No matter what side of the aisle you’re on, attempts to prevent US citizens from voting should be a red line for you.

We can’t allow terroristic threats to keep us from the polls.
Breaking from NJ AG Platkin:

"Early this morning, law enforcement responded to threats that were received by email involving certain polling places in Bergen, Essex, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Passaic Counties. Law enforcement … have worked swiftly to secure these polling locations."

So just saying this again because as a hospice caregiver, i see people take their last breath.

Death is not some magical clearance and speaking truthfully about someone who has died isn't "speaking ill of the dead."

I am not afraid of my words.
Yea i never understood that whole thing.

I'm not religious in any way, I'll say the stuff I'd said to them when they were alive AND dead, because death is not some magical portal where suddenly you are protected from the shit you did when you were alive.

Anyway i made a delicious omelette
