Why do I keep telling you this? Because all of you have elderly relatives. Elderly relatives who are being targeted by vanity presses offering to publish their memoirs, or their picture books. Vanity presses telling them that they can make money, as long as they "invest" their life savings first.
Anyone still unsure of the difference between a publisher and a vanity press? Here it is. Publishers make money from selling books to the public. Vanity presses make money from selling publishing services to authors. In one model, the author gets paid. In the other, the author gets charged. Simple.

Good thing to keep mind as the red states ramp up rhetoric is that all of them depend on federal handouts. They are already dependent on socialism to survive and have been for YEARS
