Exciting news: the new review from @centriolelab.bsky.social is out in the amazing #JCSciliaSI! 🎉
I had the pleasure of working alongside Olivier Mercey, Paul Guichard and Virginie Hamel on this one.
Cherry on top: our #UExM image was selected for the cover of the issue! 🤩

📢 Excited to share our new study in Nature Communications!
We show that the A-C linker safeguards centriole architecture & controls duplication. A big congratulations to Lorène for this beautiful discovery, which represents 4 years of her thesis work.

Thrilled to announce that my PhD work is finally out in the @embojournal.org ! In this paper, we show that Alms1 proteins are required for the amplification of the Plk4-Ana2 pool at the centriole duplication site using #U-ExM on various Drosophila tissues, including testis, brains, and embryos.
Drosophila Alms1 proteins are general regulators of #centriolar cartwheel assembly, exhibiting distinct centriolar localization patterns and enabling Plk4-Ana2 interaction
