Learning new platforms is annoying, but I guarantee you it is worth it because you don't want to depend on any single one of these apps/sites. It's inevitable that they will try and shut down one thing or the other but if we are flexible, we can stay a step ahead. Digital ungovernability, y'all-

I can already hear the wakanda accent from the Children of Blood and Bone movie. I love how they managed to find multiple Yoruba men but somehow we are going to have Amandla Stenberg representing Yoruba women?)

I just saw some lovely reviews for Kòkú Àkànbí and The King of Lost Souls and it really made my morning! I’m so proud of my second book I really feel like I grew a lot as a writer during the process of writing it.

Another reason I like the Yoruba Orisa gods is cause so many of them are gay and non-binary, like sooo many.
