Esp with all the fanfare about casting in a Nigeria. Disappointing and tiring

I feel that the SAME specific energy used used to draw from Orisa Goddesses, Yoruba goddesses who were depicted as darkskin Yoruba women which informs the entire basis of the story should be the SAME energy that is used to cast accurately.

As a Yoruba woman who also draws from Yoruba mythology in her writing, it is disappointed to see ZERO Yoruba women casted. And before we talk about it being so difficult to find specifically Yoruba women, they managed just fine with our men. Which smells of misogynoir.
