Great powers do not ask for security guarantees, they give them. The fact we are asking for them proves we are not one.

This might be evidence to treat us accordingly.

Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century.

He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.

OTD in 2022 I gave Emmanuel Macron my personal assurances that I would not invade Ukraine.

So you can trust any promise we make now.

Having some military officers study at civilian universities is a good thing. The SecDef, once again showing how he is irretrievably mired in the tactical, doesn’t understand this.
Brian Allen

Pete Hegseth complained that the Pentagon sent officers to Harvard to study strategy and leadership — and they came back “too Harvard,” with “globalist, radical ideologies.”

In other words:

The military sent people to learn diplomacy, history, and international law.

The most likely reason Elon Musk finally disabled Starlink for Russian soldiers is because he wants to take SpaceX public and get a trillion dollar valuation for this IPO.

If the Russians were using Starlink to commit war crimes, then investors might have boycotted his IPO.

Russia trades with Iran, yet Trump has still not put any tariffs on Russia.
It doesn't specify rates that could be imposed, but uses 25% as an example, says it will apply to goods imported into the US from nations that 'directly or indirectly purchases, imports, or otherwise acquires any goods or services from Iran'

This happened only hours before his racist post. Not a coincidence. A Black man had the temerity to ask trump to not be a terrible person.
wow -- with Trump standing behind him, a man (not sure who he is) offers this prayer: "We pray that he would be mindful of the poor and that he would be invested in the alleviation of suffering happening in the families preparing to bury their loved ones in Minneapolis."
