Heard from a friend at Disney+ that there are multiple levels of freakout internally, both from internal dissatisfaction, concerns about subscription cancelations, and of course the big one: concern about a boycott spilling over into parks and cruises.

Disney/ABC just caved & pulled Jimmy Kimmel for political reasons.
Nexstar — which owns The CW + 200+ local ABC, NBC, CBS & FOX stations — is part of the same machine.

💥 Boycott Disney. Boycott Nexstar. Boycott their advertisers.

Hit them where it hurts: the $$$.

Not really an overstatement to say that the test of a free society is whether or not comedians can make fun of the country's leader on TV without repurcussions.

It's so weird when people can't tell they're the villains in the story. People wake up like "doo da doo time to put on my ski mask and cover my badge number like a hero would." "I'm not wrong, it's the crying family I'm tearing apart that is the problem."

In just over two weeks, three former presidents have taken to the public stage to sound the alarm against President Donald Trump, despite the tradition that former presidents generally refrain from publicly criticizing their successors.
Three ex-presidents denounce the current one in a two-week stretch
While presidents have been at odds before, there is often a sort of camaraderie among the small club of individuals who have served in the highest office in the land.

Hi, what is happening to the Discover algo on Bluesky? It keeps pulling in random clutter, unrelated to any of my interests or activity. And the ‘Show Less Like This’ button does not work.

Could we get an update please? @rose.bsky.team @jay.bsky.team @bsky.app

Holy moly the Severance finale! Perfection.

I remember doubting this show early in ssn1, unsure if it had the magic. Glad to be wrong! A phenomenal production. And we’re so lucky to have it, here in these dark times.

Always in awe when a killer project gets a green light AND a full tank of gas 👏

These attacks on protest and freedoms cannot be fought in isolation or in movement silos. We need broad, brave coalition.

Climate, Palestine, labor, migrant, trans and reproductive rights; academic freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of association ... Together we are mighty. Divided we fall.

This is outrageous. The FTC has carried out its mission of protecting consumers and taking on monopolies in a bipartisan way for more than 110 years. Illegally gutting the Commission empowers fraudsters and monopolists, and consumers will pay the price.

Clear your head with a nap or an episode of Black Mirror. Then back to it 💪
