My family tells me they weren't allowed to ride the bus in the 70s/ 80s after Audrey, the wife of Maplewood's state senator (& future Senate president) Jerry Hughes, was nearly beaten to death on the neighborhood bus.
Need to verify.

Yeah, I'm just outside the green zone, but I'm in St Paul province, their regulars don't usually stray this far North. They prefer to stick close to FOB Whipple and only engage with the insurgents when they are under clandestine cover, or in tactical formation
