Antisemitism is a lot like Qanon child abuse conspiracies in that there’s this real and bad phenomenon and, parallel to that, what can only be described as a large scale mass psychosis about a mostly fictional version of the same phenomenon

Sorry but if you actively enjoy turkey then you are broken.

Also, it has only been a part of English Christmas for ~150 years, around 10% of the time England has been a Christian country.

Most people (correctly) don't like turkey!

Look. As someone who a) works in a sector solely dependent on tax and spend policies but also b) likes not seeing their pay slip go down based on tax rises, I am conflicted. But what I really want is someone who is honest about the reality of it all.

Reading about the rapid collapse of Eastern European governments in 1989 as completely rotten and corrupt leaderships disintegrated when people realised fear was all that was holding them up. Apropos of nothing.

Supposed to be teaching Labour Party unity on Thursday 🙃

Nick Robinson closed the Today programme emphasising that the BBC Board is *still* fighting over the wording of a statement over the Panorama programme.
it is very strange that BBC chair Samir Shah is hiding this morning. He should by rights be on the Today programme presenting himself as in charge and hands on the tiller. I wonder if he is frightened for his position
