Judges are accountable to the law you fool! Literally “the rule of law not of men” is the foundation of democracy. Judges just don’t make decisions based on vibes or to please their supporters and donors. This is despotic thinking.

Whether or not you side with teachers, whether or not you support the concept of unions, if you believe in democracy, you should be horrified at the #ucp 's use of the Notwithstanding Clause to override the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms in order to remove democratic rights from citizens.

Who else turns off the radio/tv whenever the orange turd is mentioned? I'm in CANADA. I realize what happens in the US affects us, but do we truly need to hear from a foreign despot multiple times/day? He craves attention. Stop pandering. Do better. We have our own stories. So, I learned this a.m. that the #ucp (I see BS) is preferring gas generated electricity over solar and wind, even though that costs Albertans more.

So, the Alberta government is punishing me by increasing my vehicle registration 300% for driving an electric vehicle. Most sane provinces encourage their residents to reduce emissions by providing rebates, but not the in-the-pockets-of-the-oil-companies #UCP. Sigh. Ignorant dinosaurs.
