The most simple fact is: It makes sense because your consumers care about it. Set aside any facts about AI and just treat it as a black box component. If buyers say it factors into their purchasing decisions, then it matters to you because the point of your service is to sell what they want to buy.

DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.

I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.

There was an actual debate about this. The Russian judge insisted on hangings because hangings were for common criminals and the Nazis didn’t deserve any implicit honor in their deaths.

Saw a post where someone pointed out that a judge at Nuremberg rejected “just following orders”
and sentenced people to death by firing squad and that’s just not right.
Most if not all death sentences from Nuremberg trials were hangings.
Because firing squads were for soldiers, not criminals.
