I joined the Green Party earlier. Last year I only voted Green because Labour leadership was obviously transphobic (they still are), and I have self respect. Since then however, Zack Polanski has brought such energy and promise to the Green Party that I decided to become a member.

Hamish was when of the first people I came out as trans to. I came out to him before I was out publicly.
I did that because his work made me feel safe to do so. He is a decent, kind, and funny person. Elon Musk is not and never will be even a tenth the person that Hamish is.

I do not like October. Starting in 2021, every October has brought something awful to my family. My wives and I used to joke that we wanted to cancel October, but the more bad Octobers we get, the more the month feels like a bad omen. I genuinely fear it now.

I’m glad Starmer has announced UK recognition of Palestinian statehood. I hope that other countries follow suit.
Whatever peace is achieved should be done so in a way which recognises and gives equal weight to the voice of the Palestinian people.
