Vivian Maier was one of the greatest street photographers of all time.
In all the years I taught photography I always stressed the importance of narrative as well as the visual design elements needed to make an image sing.

Vivian was a genius storyteller.

So true, Ian. Very disappointed in Labour's attitude towards the environment.
Another good year for Greenfinches here, with no signs of disease in the finch population.
But what a disappointing year it's been, to witness the cloth ears of the Labour government, when it comes to matters of the environment.
They have so many (filthy) rivers to cross....

once a very gorgeous young social media manager asked for a "quick candid video" at an event and i watched her immediately, humanely delete it. i have the on-screen presence of an aging adjunct teaching over zoom for the first time. some of us were just meant for print!!!
