One positive thing to come out o 2014 referendum, it became normal to talk about Independence or even Referendums.

wish Kier would make a very simple move - stop subsiding food and drink in the HOC. I know it wouldn’t save the millions we need to prop up public services but it would suggest that those in power have some small inkling of the enormous financial pressures ordinary people are under just now.

In 1968 Finland banned for profit education, the few private schools that exist in Finland have to reinvest any profit they make or pay it back to parents.
It has been in the Top 3 in education for the last 20 years.
There should be no profit in education or healthcare.

As an Arran resident, I’m well aware that the ferry is late, and way over budget. There are few public capital outlays that are not. We’re just pleased to have our new boat. stvnews@bluesky and heraldscotland@bsky will have to find some other way of talking down Scotland.

Scotland has a population of less than six million people yet its resources generate enough electricity for twenty five million people every day which is transferred to England and then sold back to Scottish consumers who are then charged the highest prices in Europe to use their own energy.
