I've said before that people think leftists enjoy being right. It sucks, actually. I do not want to be proven right, that the national Democratic party is cooked, by them voting for cloture on the CR. I don't get anything out of it, I don't have a podcast to promote, things just keep getting worse.

At the end of the day, the Black Lives Matter era was about whether people should be killed in the street, and lots of people decided yeah and put those little blue flags on their cars. It spread to everyone because it stopped for no one.

everything ICE and the Trump administration have been doing is based on decades of carceral state infrastructure, built by Dems and Repubs alike. this was always the end game. still, it's always shocking when browncoats are let loose on the populace. fuck ICE and fuck their abettors

Also, ICE shouldn't have firearms at all in this context! They are a civil/regulatory enforcement agency. When they are doing domestic immigration enforcement, they don't even enforce criminal law!
My take on what is clearly murder: a bunch of insufficiently-trained ICE agents dog-pile — and subdue — the victim with multiple guns drawn (why were the guns out?!). One of agents accidentally discharges his improperly-drawn gun, spooks the rest, and then they all unload in to the unarmed victim.
