My camera doesn't do it justice but the lighting outside in DTLA is insane right now. Feels like a movie. Very bright with a yellow tone, but also feels dark with the street lights on (at least across my window).

AI detectors are AI for people who hate AI, but still want to base their decisions on what it says (as a treat)
Just because I keep seeing those "I checked this piece and it's written by AI" - this is an old article of mine, before AI was available. So could we not?

Specifically the sound of his attack, like a very dramatic gasp.

Post an image you can hear. (technically it’s the music in the scene I can hear, but I’m counting it.)

I was telling him it gives Don Quixote vibes from the outside and now I wonder if others see it or if I'm tripping :p
In this rabbit hole of a journey, I found a picture from Reddit of the exact KB Toys store at Town East Mall in the city where I grew up. The video games were behind the counter on the right so my mom had to specifically ask for the game

If Bad Bunny can cover the history of Puerto Rico, colonialism, transatlantic slavery, hemispheric consciousness, as well as contemporary life and politics in under 14 minutes, you can do your 15- or 20-minute conference presentation with time to spare.

I revamped the way my desk was set up. Lot more exterior light now! But also it feels good to shuffle things once in a while.

We also picked up Quackers because he melted my heart. This is not his profile, he's looking straight at the camera.

Also he has bear feet. He's perfect.

This.

When plenty of folks in power positions keep publicly saying games are the future of the film industry…the WGA needs to be ALL OVER IT.

Games writing is art involving scripting the equivalent of several-seasons-of-TV’s-worth of dialogue for performers.
The above post kinda popped off so I'm not sure I can delete it now BUT... Look, I'm never the kind to us-vs-them my fellow writers. If you're a WGA member reading this, I urge you to talk to your leadership about this - it's a solidarity issue. Game writers deserve a permanent seat at the table.
