Be thankful if your partner, or anyone, really, offers to bring home groceries. If while they clarify, "what kind of cheese?" and you say "havarti or swiss" and they bring home both, you've done something right. Don't **** it up!

The FBI just wrote to me and my client about last year’s ransomware attack that I cleaned up. Of course, I responded quickly, while feeding the cats, but had to stop chatting with a client with a new emergency.

If the cats and FBI would just leave me alone, I could do my work!

I just sent a text ending with "lol". No caps, no punctuation, and no forethought. It just came out of my fingers and I hit send.

Note to self: rethink cancelling the therapy appointments and anxiety meds; recalculate expected time to retirement....

I’ve had to explain the difference between computer sleep, shutdown, and restart a lot recently. I don’t blame people. Tech companies are making basic stuff painful.

If you don’t click on the words SHUT DOWN it’s likely your computer is going to sleep.

Restart your computers weekly! Be safe.

Digital Organization: Does Word save all of your files in a secret, underground bunker? Does your computer’s desktop have 300 icons but not THAT one? Can you schedule your kid’s next dentist appointment by yourself? Are you SURE your photos are safe?

Let’s make all of those hell yeah!

MEAFA = Make Everything a F***ing Acronym. I haven't seen that anywhere except from Wankernomics. LOL

I've spent the last week explaining DMARC, DKIM, and SPF to small business owners without using those terms. They're vital for SMBs and, working in IT for an MSP. Also, it's DNS.

In my time in the Senate I've never seen a Senator treated this way. @padilla.senate.gov is carrying out his constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight and defend the people he represents. Absolutely shocking and disgusting way to handle a sitting member of Congress.

Cybersecurity is no joke. Remember that victims of attacks may...
- need our *support*
- after an attack, security gets a *push-up* the priority list and can *uplift* the organization
- *transparent* doesn't necessarily mean flimsy
- security doesn't have to be uncomfortable!

Why is it called that?

I’ve been asked to play percussion with a church choir. During sound check, was asked my opinion and ended with, “.. and I’m not blowing smoke.“ a choir member said. “Well, it is 420!” And everyone laughed! I love people.

Pontius Pilate was reportedly opposed to tattoos and passed decrees (executive orders) banning them. His innermost circle of concubines and slaves were, however, aware of his lower back tattoo of Deudorix livia, or the Pomegrante Playboy butterfly. (Also his bedroom nickname.)
Biblical scholars now believe that if Jesus had covered up his gang tattoos, he might’ve avoided crucifixion.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy
