Long shot, but does anyone know of any UK triathlon competitions that don't have exclusionary gender politics? The one I raced with two years ago seems to have fallen into line with British Triathlon.

Yesterday I had an emotional conversation on the phone with Arteja. She was trafficked into this country and terrible exploited by gangs before finding safety and community in Liverpool.
Now she’s been detained and is set to be deported back into the hands of those who caused her so much trauma.

This is utterly horrifying. At the same time, we've had a national GOP that has implied these things, without saying them outright, for decades. That has done every hateful thing possible to every minority group, to make us second class citizens. This is what happens next, in their worldview.
One of the craziest stories I've seen in a long time. If you think Trump and his administration are extreme and depraved, just wait until you learn about the young guns who are positioning themselves to take over the reigns in the next few decades
