They’re doing extra-judicial killings just for the sake of doing extra-judicial killings. There is no other practical reason for this. And surprise surprise, their whole basis for this being about targeting “cartels” doesn’t actually make any sense if you understand the trafficking supplychain
The drone attacks on boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific are not even remotely helpful in doing what the Trump Admin wants you to believe they are:

The first time I realized I could email a historian I liked and say, "Hey, I like your topic, what else is good?" and that they would answer me in less than a minute, super-enthusiastically and with a huge list of recommendations - it opened up a whole new world to me.

Epstein document dump coming later today. A federal judge has granted @nytimes.com and @wsj.com requests to unseal records from litigation involving Jeffrey Epstein and JPMorgan. We have no idea what the documents will show, but we expect to receive them this evening. Stay tuned! 🍿
