His 16.3% SwStr% ranks 144th of 145 qualified batters. The whiff creates a lot of risk in my mind, and I feel the 2025 surface stats are helping drive the cost up.

- Enough pop (8.2% barrel rate)
- Allows you to wait on 2B and still have a solid option, while you fill other needs

I'm liking the value on Gleyber Torres

Reviewing the total stats that Jonathan India put up for a few of my DCs.
No one will probably care, but I went ahead & reviewed which of my standings in my NFBC leagues was the weakest.
I am excellent at pounding volume, but it hurts my AVG.
Additionally, I need slightly more investment in pitchers at the top-ish portion of the draft, after going bat-heavy in 2025.

Nick Pivetta casually dropping a 2.87 ERA, 0.99 WHIP combo over 180+ frames is definitely one of the crazier lines I can remember from a mid-rotation arm in a while. Elite fantasy value pick in 2025.

Since seeing his ERA balloon to 5.09 on July 26th, Raisel Iglesias has been one of the best RPs in baseball with 18 frames of 0.50 ERA/0.56 WHIP, with 17:2 K:BB as well. 1 MPH helped, but mostly luck evened out. Seems like the same guy as always. I will buy back on the veteran impending FA for '26.

The Giants winning 11 of 12 after selling off a few guys and entering the NL Wild Card picture is just chaotic. First, getting Matt Chapman to re-up, then the Devers deal, and now this? Buster Posey, man.
Kevin Gausman has had a marvelous bounceback year (3.63 ERA/1.03 WHIP/24.3% K rate) and props to those who jumped back in on the vet. He regained a half tick of velo & that has seemed to help, as the 93/94 MPH line is a tricky one to straddle. Go too far below that & Nola/Gallen outcomes can occur.
