No one will probably care, but I went ahead & reviewed which of my standings in my NFBC leagues was the weakest.
I am excellent at pounding volume, but it hurts my AVG.
Additionally, I need slightly more investment in pitchers at the top-ish portion of the draft, after going bat-heavy in 2025.

Playing time is a funny thing in baseball. If you could predict it with any reasonable consistency, one would be unstoppable in fantasy.
Ketel is having a better 2025 based on wRC+ but he's played less so it doesn't feel like he's having as monster of a year as 2024.

I get that the price is high with Spencer Schwellenbach but he checks these boxes:
-6 pitch mix, advanced pitchability
-20.8 K-BB is very strong
-30.7% ball percentage is top of the scale, premium command

Even if I knew Noelvi Marte was assured PT (clearly, he's not), my interest would be tepid. He hasn't posted a wRC+ over 120 since High-A in 2022. I need to see growth before going after this profile.

In DCs, I love the price of LAA SP prospect Caden Dana - ADP of 620 over the last 7 DCs
-Age 20 campaign at AA last year: 135.2 IP, 147 Ks to 39 BBs (20.1% K-BB), 64.5% strike rate in AA
-55 FV w/ best pitch as slider to garner whiffs
-Weak spots in LAA rotation
-LAA is aggressive w/ young talent
-Age 20 campaign at AA last year: 135.2 IP, 147 Ks to 39 BBs (20.1% K-BB), 64.5% strike rate in AA

Even if you don't think Hoffman will be an elite closer, he and Trevor Megill lengthen the pool of trustable RPs, perhaps creating more depth/choices for fantasy drafters. 🤌

Looking into Paul Goldschmidt, I'm intrigued by the price. ADP around 185. Statcast metrics slipped a little, but still good. Seemed to have run into some bad luck. Volume: full-time. Lineup and park boost too. Another Abreu? Or good buying opportunity? 🤔
