The clever thing about going for stuff like the cycle for work scheme is it’s really noticeable, affects people with lots of media access and platforms, annoys green groups, and raises almost no revenue at the same time. Real win/win/win there.

Which former PM will post their clogs first? Blair's got a dodgy ticker, I think. May - Type 1 diabetes. Brown had notoriously bad diet & looks shagged out. Johnson & Cameron look like their livers are hammered. Truss will probably be fine as long as she doesn't pick her nose with a sharp implement

It's the little victories
The sausages in this morning's supermarket delivery had a shorter use by date than the 5+ days advertised on their website. I asked for a refund and got it even though I fully intended to have the sausages tonight anyway.
