Why is it that centre left parties keep telling us they simply cannot do policy that benefits working class people because their supporters won't vote for it. Yet centre left party supporters will also tell us they want this policy but can't possibly have any demands on their party.

Reminder that Francesca Albanese is not being targeted for a sentence twisted and lifted out of context in a speech.

She is being targeted for daring to name the names of giant companies complicit in the crime of genocide.

They would rather destroy international law than be accountable to it.

Financial forms of family violence affect 1 in 7 New Zealanders –

Economic harm – restricting access to, sabotaging or exploiting another person’s financial resources, and impeding their economic autonomy – is increasingly recognised as a form of family violence. And it can happen to anyone.
Financial forms of family violence affect 1 in 7 New Zealanders – but the law is lagging
Despite global efforts to see economic harm as a form of domestic violence, New Zealand’s Family Violence Act doesn’t recognise it as a standalone form of abuse.

There's only two groups of people this appeals to:
1) commercial landlords
2) bitter old pricks who are not affected by this at all but want to make lives miserable for younger generations because they had it tough for 15 minutes once

Another coordinated effort between the wealthy and their media to condition the working class public they must work until they fall into their graves all to protect their wealth hoarding. All of it lies. The age of eligibility does not need to rise and we don't need means testing.
50% of families living payday to payday, 40% of people at 65 have no savings, so we should work longer seems to be their answer.

Why is it never "pay people enough to be able to live an enjoyable life and save money too" ?

Coal, Oil, Gas, Electricity, Water, Public Transport, Social Housing, Telecoms, Shipbuilding, Steel...

All nationalised.

Now 95% of your money goes to tax dodging billionaires.

If you change the law to prevent workers being recognized correctly and gaining their full rights by drawing a before/after line, because workers won a case - that is TO DO WITH IT.

To understand how monstrous the US blockade on Cuba is, think about the endgame. What are they trying to achieve?

The goal is clearly to starve people to the point where they are too weak to resist an invasion, or so desperate they are willing to accept US control.
