Why is it that centre left parties keep telling us they simply cannot do policy that benefits working class people because their supporters won't vote for it. Yet centre left party supporters will also tell us they want this policy but can't possibly have any demands on their party.

1) commercial landlords
2) bitter old pricks who are not affected by this at all but want to make lives miserable for younger generations because they had it tough for 15 minutes once

If you change the law to prevent workers being recognized correctly and gaining their full rights by drawing a before/after line, because workers won a case - that is TO DO WITH IT.
