I was thinking exactly the same thing. Chris Hipkins misrepresented what Tamatha Paul said. She knew exactly what she was talking about.

If the emperor could make "falling asleep during meetings" fashionable then that's actually one good thing he will have done 🙌

Random question but is there a way to physically disable PayWave on a card?
I bought an expensive meal this evening and was trying to avoid the PayWave surcharge but the machine detected the chip on my card and charged me the surcharge anyway. I'm a bit pissed off about it.
