IF YOU READ NO OTHER PORTION OF THE EPSTEIN FILES TRANSPARENCY ACT, read this one.

EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT THEY WITHHOLD has to be indexed, published in the Federal Register, and submitted to Congress with an explanation.

And scroll down to understand why THEY ARE NOT PERMITTED TO WITHHOLD IT ALL.

Very important for people to read this portion of the Epstein Files Transparency Act so you understand 1) why Mike Johnson was so upset today, and 2) what is NOT permitted to be redacted by the DOJ.

AOC: Trump has been saying the economy is booming, but it’s really only seven tech companies. They’re driving this growth in just one sector: AI.

So the entire economic growth can be tracked down to seven companies and their AI expansion…

Now we see what the gig is: Will DOJ release the files or will they claim their lopsided investigation into only Democrats (despite Bondi’s July statement that the evidence didn’t support any additional prosecutions) means they won’t release anything.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

Abbott acts like a total Froot Loop.

A governor cannot declare any group a "foreign terrorist organization." Even, if he were the president, he couldn't designate a domestic group a FTO! (Trump hit that exact problem lately.)

Abbott has a J.D. from Vanderbilt! He's just shining people on!

BREAKING: The Senate just passed the Epstein bill by unanimous consent.

The bill will automatically pass once it's delivered to the Senate and will then advance to Trump's desk for him to sign — possibly as early as this evening.

Note however that we have a VETO PROOF MAJORITY in both houses of Congress.

All credit to Massie and Khanna for getting this ball rolling.

Thune indicates Senate is unlikely to amend the Epstein bill and could pass it by unanimous consent today; cites the overwhelming House vote and Trump’s support.
Mike Johnson sort of on an island re: Epstein - voting for a bill he fought for months and hoped the Senate would amend. Awkytonk.
